Nguyen Duc Hieu has more than 15 years of experience practicing in a broad range of practices of intellectual property. Mr. Hieu served as a leader of Hanoi dispute resolution team and a member of Vietnam Management Team within Rouse Legal (a UK-based-law firm) before he joined Phuoc & Partners. Mr. Hieu has assisted multi-national companies in enforcing IP rights in Vietnam. His practice spans the enforcement and litigation of trademark rights, design rights, copyrights and the right to act against unfair competitors. With his expertise and experience, Mr. Hieu gives clients cost-effective but comprehensive advice. In addition to IP enforcement and litigation practice, Mr. Hieu has expanded his practice to technology transfer, licensing transactions and M&A matters. Mr. Hieu attained his Bachelor of Law degree and then a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Hanoi Law College. He also earned a Bachelor of English degree at Hanoi Foreign Language Teaching University. He has also been admitted as an official member of the Bar Association of Hanoi. Mr. Hieu has delivered presentations for a number of international professional seminars. He is also an author and a co-author of several articles published by IP magazines
